It would be prudent to check that firms providing you with security services have been able to maintain adequate Public Liability cover.

 

These troubled times, in terms of heightened security risks and the difficulty of some to obtain insurance cover, have made it problematic for some service providers to acquire adequate Public Liability insurance cover. Not all security firms have maintained insurance cover for Crowd Control or cover when operating in an environment when alcohol I served.

 

We would suggest that, under the circumstances, it is not inappropriate for you to ask to peruse the Public Liability Insurance Polices of your service providers.
